Join us on Easter Sunday at 9:30am in the Chapel for worship as we celebrate Jesus' resurrection through song, prayer, scripture and sharing the Eucharist. All ages will be together in the Chapel (so no nursery/ kids ministry) and after worship we'll have special treats in the breezeway. Hope to see you then!

Please join us on Good Friday (March 29) to experience the last moments in the life of Jesus. We'll be offering two separate gatherings both beginning at 6:30pm: (1) A family friendly experience in the parlor with different stations promoting curiosity, play, and creativity as we explore the emotions of Jesus during holy week. (2) A contemplative worship gathering in the chapel, where there will be readings, prayer, silence, and music as we walk with Jesus to the cross.

What makes a Christian, a Christian? Is our relationship with God based on following rules? Or on following Christ? The answers to those questions have been many and varied over the centuries, but some of the earliest debate we know of is found in Paul’s letter to the churches in Galatia. This Fall at Genesis, we’ll spend four Thursday evenings (Oct. 19 - Nov. 9 from 7-8:30pm) reading and exploring that letter together in an effort to find modern meaning in an ancient text. Pastor Dan will lead, but using the model of our friends at 40 Orchards (a scripture semi-circle if you will), much of the learning will come from each other as we react to Paul’s words in their context and share our honest reactions to those words and what they imply.
