Ace in the City Backpack Drive

We are partnering with Ace in the City again this year for their annual Backpack Drive.

Every year Ace asks for donated backpacks and cash, and they use donations to stuff the backpacks with the supplies their neighborhood kids need for their specific schools. So cool.

Then comes the fun part! Ace holds their annual Back2School Bash, a huge party, where among other things, kids and families can purchase the pre-stuffed backpacks at a discounted price.

How can you help? Two ways!

1) Bring a new backpack with a $20 bill stuffed inside to the Welcome Table on Sunday the 22nd or 29th, and we'll get the bags to Ace.

2) Come on down to the bash on August 10th to help in the Backpack Store! If you have questions or want to help at the Bash email hellowest@genesiscov.org.
