Allie Lee, Kids Formation Pastor
She/Her/Hers. As a neurodivergent and queer pastor-artist, Allie loves to explore the intersections of curiosity, creativity, wonder, and love. Her life centers around empowering young people to encounter an endlessly knowable and compassionate God…and pizza. Always pizza.
Allie has a BA in Biblical and Theological Studies and an MDiv with a certificate in Justice and Mission. She lives in Minneapolis with her family (Will & Junia), super-affectionate dog, and ever-expanding rock collection. Kara VerHage, Lead Pastor
She/Her/Hers. Kara shepherds the congregation, supervises the staff, oversees relational and missional environments, provides pastoral and sacramental leadership, serves on the teaching team, creates pathways for the congregation to care for one another, and serves as the staff representative on the Elder Team. She loves supper clubs & karaoke, curates a fine charcuterie board and is fond of reading & travel.

Rebecca Knotz, Admin & Operations Manager
She/Her/Hers. Rebecca is responsible for a variety of administrative duties as well as overseeing general operations - finances, human resources and communications. She loves bringing order to things and uses the label maker as often as is reasonable. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading and thrifting. Will Lee, Worship Coordinator
He/Him/His. Will is responsible for preparing musical worship and other liturgical elements for Sacramental environments and equipping musical worship and tech team members to craft spaces that deepen our journey of becoming ordinary followers of Jesus. Will is honored to be in this community to choose honest, communal songs of worship that walk with us through the peaks and valleys of life and give language to our stories of redemption. Will loves to watch and talk about film and TV in his free time. Please bug him for a nerdy conversation and recommend things for him to watch. Dan Cook, Teaching Pastor
He/Him/His. Dan is part of the Genesis teaching team and has a passion for exploring scripture and discussing the questions it raises. He’s grateful to be part of a community that focuses less on absolute certainties and more on the love, grace and mystery of God. He oversees the Developmental environment at Genesis, organizing things like book studies and bible learning classes. Osheta Moore, Family Formation Coordinator & Teaching Team
She/Her/Hers. Osheta is responsible for organizing and communicating with volunteers for Kids Ministry at Genesis and co-leads the monthly Parent Brunch with Allie, cultivating opportunities for home discipleship for families. She is also a member of the Genesis Teaching team.
Osheta fell in love with Jesus and the church when she was 9 years old in an old Texas chapel during a Vacation Bible School; her first communion was graham crackers and red Kool-Aid.She is the author of “Shalom Sistas” and, “Dear White Peacemakers”. She pastors Roots alongside her husband T.C. and is in the thick of parenting two teens and one young adult T.J., Trinity and Tyson. They all live in Saint Paul, MN.
